Wearing tees Kenyan celebrity style!

T shirts are some of the most versatile styles we can adapt to our everyday clothing. Forget the uber-casual reputation of the tee, sometimes it can be a smoldering addition to your wardrobe.

You can turn your tee into a head-turning dress that leaves people gasping for breathe. Avril gets a little naughty here with this off shoulder, gray tee that is daring to say the least.

Nonini on the far right has the ladies lovin him in this black number. Pairing it up with a 'bad-boy' leather jacket and killer attitude!

For a patriotic twist, Madtraxx above and Churchill below, are representing the 254 to the max! Both have t-shirts that are unique to their style but that keep the Kenyan spirit alive, good one..

The classic look of the white tee is a must have for all wardrobes, male or female. Nameless is working this look to perfection below, pairing his white tee with a simple pair of jeans and gorgeous belt.

And to end this post we leave you with a quote from Giorgio Armani "I've always thought of the T-shirt as the Alpha and Omega of the fashion alphabet."

Enjoy your week and stay inspired!!!

PS: We have a surprise lined up for you, keep posted!

The Fluid Spirit

We were sitting up at Fluid Towers tonight discussing what we felt differentiated us from other t-shirt brands, we fast realized that this came really easy for us because, well duh, we kinda live and breathe the brand. One of the key elements we kept bringing out was that Fluid stood for Unity, Harmony, Respect and Support (in the help your neighbor kind of way). This was something we always try to bring out in fashionable style on our designs as well as in our conduct.

Socially Conscious Fashion

Wear it with Pride

Fluid Tees has worked with various non-profit groups to better society at large. We have also been involved with initiatives promoting peace and a more democratic Kenya. As well as a campaign supporting African teams at the World Cup.

We firmly believe in doing our part to make the world a better place and as a result we would love to take the pleasure in introducing you to a brand that also works towards this goal. Pamoja!

Edun is famously owned by Bono's wife and was set up with the goal of improving African trade.

The majority of Edun Apparel clothing - 80% of units manufactured - is made in Africa, specifically in Tunisia, Tanzania and Kenya, the remaining 20% is split between Peru and China.

The brand has worked with children from Kibera-Bidii School- to produce custom made t-shirts. This initiative goes to support  basic needs, such as lunch, supplies, healthcare, and development projects at the Bidii School and Kudos to Edun, they claim that one hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of these tees go back towards this fund.

According to Edun Live, they have built the business solely in Africa and are committed to expanding production of their fashion line - that is 15% African made - on the continent on a year to year basis. The company stands by the quality of their African made products and are actively working towards increasing their capacity there. Below are images of some of their work:
